As an incurable foodie, I cannot help but try any new-to-me technique that floats across my computer screen.   Despite having both a salt/ice old fashioned ice cream maker and a new-fangled no ice needed ice cream maker, I have more than one no-machine-necessary recipe on a list to try.  I started with the easiest one.
