I can across this recipe in one of Ursula Ferrigno’s cookbooks called ‘Trattoria’. She does a different twist on the typical cream based carbonara. Let me assure you, that this pasta ended up deliciously creamy. Don???t be confused by the pictures, this dish is not only delicious but creamy. I used a weird shaped pasta, but i’d recommend any type of small pasta shapes, like shells, farfelle etc Enjoy!
