Although there are a few more ingredients than my normal recipes, this gumbo is so easy! All you have to do is put all the ingredients in your slow cooker and let it go! It is also very versatile. I add chicken, shrimp, and sausage to mine, but you can add just one, two, or all three depending on what you have on hand! Nothing beats coming home to a meal that is ready to go! All you need to do is cook up some rice to add to the gumbo. This recipe is also healthy and low calorie. It doesn't get better! As you can see, we ate this gumbo with my cheddar bay biscuit recipe as a little treat. YUM!!!
