There's just something about winter, when it's freezing out and snowy, that makes me want crave warm carb filled breakfasts. Especially on the weekends.  When the mood strikes I have two main fall-backs: pancakes and french toast. And let's be honest here...I never have syrup for either. I always have bananas though.
