Where I live there are many orchards and opportunities to purchase fresh apples, pears and plums, and because this fruit cannot remain long on the counter, I was inspired to create my Pear Tart with Apricot Glaze. It is a simple recipe with few ingredients (something I always try to strive for) but tastes like you worked for hours to prepare it.
