Do you know what the trouble with whoopie pies is? The baking instructions are always too long. And I never remember that until I smell that first batch burning. It is a smell I am very familiar with with as I get distracted easily and forget to set the timer. So, i am just going to Tell you when to pull these out of the oven. The secret filling here is the ginger. Does anyone use ginger a lot? I must have at least five bottles on my spice shelf because I never remember if I have any.
