Here's one of my favorite thirst quenchers, watermelon juice. When I was preparing it, I was reminded of one of my recent trips to Koh Samui, Thailand where I had it with almost every meal! The best thing about watermelon is that besides being such a delicious fruit, it also contains natural sugars so you need not add any sweeteners if you prefer. Watermelon is a super fruit, with loads of heath benefits: it is a great anti-oxidant; it is said that a glass of watermelon juice everyday could reduce the risk of acquiring or worsening diseases such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma and colon cancer. It is packed with potassium that essentially helps normalize blood pressure.
