Rick Stein is definitely one of my favorite chefs and I loved the series so much, I just had to purchase his cookbook entitled "Rick Stein's India". There are some really amazing mouth-watering recipes and, best of all, he makes it so easy to follow. This particular dish, which originates from Pondicherry, the south of Chennai, is easy to prepare - and the word “vindail” used here, means that the recipe contains vinegar. I prepared this dish yesterday, and it really turned out great (will be making it again, for sure!) :D
