A couple of weeks ago I picked up some beautiful heads of red cabbage to ferment, but came home and instantly got an idea! I had a few Julian Hard Apple Ciders in the fridge and I thought it would be cool to use with the cabbage. The funny thing was, except for my 10 years lost love for a stinky pile of Sauerkraut on a Hot Dog was the only way I enjoyed warm cabbage. I'm a big fan of any cold kraut, kimchi, pickled cabbage, but I was never a fan of it heated....until NOW! The great thing about the Paleo & Primal lifestyle is that it's opened my eyes to try new vegetables and meats I never had before. If you follow me on Instagram, you'll catch a picture of a Hard Apple Cider from time to time....and from another time to another time....and probably a few more times after that! I absolutely love Cider. When I choose to enjoy a few drinks, my ciders are my first choice. If you do not drink or cook with alcohol, you can use any cold pressed apple cider from the store. Ready to get it going? This dish is super easy and you will not be disappointed!
