I did a bit of research yesterday, trying to find reference to the book in which I first read about zebra cakes. I never found it, but I did find a comment buried at the end of a blog post saying that in Australia, they dip their chocolate wafers in orange juice before stacking with whipped cream. That was all the inspiration I needed. And what goes better with chocolate and orange than coffee? Nothing. That's what. The whipped cream is only very lightly sweetened since Brownie Brittle is so sweet. Feel free to add more sugar to your cream if you want it a bit sweeter.
