Caramel Sauce is pure sugar goodness. Pour it over any number of desserts, cakes, sweet breads, baked fruits, and ice cream. It keeps well for at least one week in the refrigerator, and can be served cold, or at room temperature. But the best way to enjoy this heavenly topping is slightly heat it slightly either in the microwave or in a double boiler on the stovetop. This is a light color and tasting caramel sauce.
