Despite things slowing down in the tomato department, I still found myself with a bunch of them yesterday. Now, I like tomatoes.  I enjoy canning tomatoes, slipping the ruby-red halves into jars, overlapping them just so to form a pretty panoply of the summer harvest.  And I really enjoy being able to take a jar
