The  Betty Crocker Cookbook is a "must have" for every kitchen and my go-to cookbook.  Deep within the recesses of the dessert pages, I found a unusual way of making meringue that is foolproof! If you have an abundance of eggs, then topping a pie with meringue is a great way to use up a several of them.
