Now I realize that summer is on it's way out, and this recipe may not being coming out at the best time, buuuut I still wanted to share it with you! Pin if for later? I first shared this Strawberry Lemonade as part of my contributor gig over at Whipperberry.
I figure, it's always a good time for a delicious drink. Who knows, maybe it's still hot where you are, and you could use a big ol' glass of some yummy lemonade? It's definitely fall here, but by some stroke of good luck we are having fabulous hot weather. I think we're owed this sunshine since most of our summer was spent under cloud cover and rain. So Strawberry Lemonade? Don't mind if I do. :)
- 6 lemons, juiced
- 4 cups water
- ½ – ¾ cup sugar (depending on how sweet or tart you want it)
- 1/4 cup pureed fresh strawberries
- Juice your lemons. (I just use a hand juicer.)
- Add the sugar to the lemon juice and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Once the sugar is dissolved, add the water and stir.
- Stir in the strawberry puree.
- Garnish with a slice of lemon and a slice of strawberry.
- Serve & enjoy!
