Savory Sausage Stuffing 1 lb. sausage (I use Jimmy Dean, use what you like) 1 12-14 oz packaged cubed stuffing (I love Mrs. Cubbisons cornbread stuffing) 3-4 celery stalks diced 1 onion chopped ½ cup butter 2½ cups chicken broth 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning (use if you are not using a seasoned package of stuffing) Brown sausage in a medium frying pan. Â Remove cooked sausage from pan. Â Add butter to the pan and melt butter on low heat. Â Add onions and celery and saute till onion starts to turn clear. Don't over cook the celery, you want to keep the crunch in it. In a bowl add cubed stuffing, sausage, butter, onions, celery and chicken broth. Mix well, and put in a greased casserole dish. Cook in a 350 degree oven for about 30-40 minutes.
