Tatampal is how we call it in Bulacan but some call it Alupihang Dagat or Hipong Dapa, the recipe I am sharing will be Steamed Mantis Shrimp or Halabos na Tatampal. Tatampal or Mantis Shrimp is a marine crustacean named so for its resemblance to praying mantis though I think the only resemblance is more on the claw part.
