Happy Eid you lovely lot. I got all dressed up on Thursday with nowhere to go, because the extended family decided to abandon all attempts at maintaining old traditions in favour of coming over to mine instead. Mum cooked enough food to feed an entire army and I ate enough to never be hungry ever again.
