Ice cream has always been one of my favorite treats.  I finally got a KitchenAid mixer and the ice cream maker attachment was a must have.  i can eat ice cream even in the middle of winter, which is how I came up with this pumpkin ice cream recipe. I prefer the lighter, creamier texture
