Masoor dal (daal) is one of the most common recipes prepared on daily basis in Indian kitchens. I have made this recipe numerous time and it comes out delicious everytime. This recipe preparation basically has three parts. First cooking the daal. In cooking I used pressure cooker. It really cooks recipes much faster than simple pot. Add lentils and few ingredients and pressure cook for 8-10 minutes. Second tempering the dhal. It takes around 5 minutes to get ready. Third mix cooked masoor dal into tempering and serve.
