Sausage Lasagna Alfredo was created when a friend wanted a lasagna recipe without the same old red sauce. Patti happened to have a few jars of garlic Alfredo on hand making for a delicious idea. Diced tomatoes with chilies and frozen spinach made it colorful and a great way to sneak in veggies. If you, for whatever reason, want it meatless omit the sausage and use a ½ pound of sautéed sliced mushrooms, ½ lb. shredded carrots and a pound of chopped broccoli lightly steamed.
