I love Styrian Pumpkin seeds. They are are such a unique kind of seed that were discovered about 150 years ago and the farmer found it in its naturally mutated pumpkin species, which developed without seed shells. When these seeds are pressed for their rich dark green oil which taste far better than regular pumpkin seeds. It has a much richer nutty taste and even the aroma and smell is bolder and richer. To this day, the pumpkins are cultivated for their nutritional qualities, predominately in the region of Styria, Austria. Pumpkin seeds are good source of plant-based protein which contain all the 9 essential amino acids. They are a good source of plant based Omega 3, Vitamin A, B Vitamins, Vitamin E and Vitamin K. They are also a good source of trace minerals such as zinc, magnesium, phosphorous, manganese, potassium, calcium, copper and selenium.
