Remember chopped steak from your childhood, when you went to a steakhouse with your parents and you thought you were so fancy! Here is an updated version that I know you will love. Lean chopped sirloin is mixed with onion, egg, seasonings, breadcrumbs, and Worcestershire, grilled to perfection and topped with a mushroom, marsala sauce that is so luscious and this masterpiece is ready in under 30 minutes! Not the same as when we were kids thank God! You'll love this recipe, I like to shape the patties into ovals rather than rounds because that's the way I remember them! Just please remember not to overwork the meat while mixing in the ingredients so it remains tender, and it's better to cook to medium rare.
